The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is an Institute established under the enactment of parliament to regulate the profession of accountancy in India. There are 5 regions all over the country viz. Eastern Region, Western Region, Northern Region, Southern Region and Central Region.
The Central India Regional Council comprises of 62 Branches, 41 CPE Study Chapters, 15 CPE Study Group and 10 CPE Study Circles spread across seven States namely Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttrakhand. There are around 90000 Chartered Accountants & around 2,50,000 students pursuing the CA curriculum in the Central India Region.
